This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.elliemotherapy.com (the “Site”).

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  1. Information atomically collected: Device Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. 2. Order Information

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. 3. General Personal Information Voluntarily Provided by You

When you order an individual hypnotherapy session, we may collect the following personal information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, job titles, and emergency contact information. We refer to this information as “General Personal Information”.

4. Sensitive Information Voluntarily Provided by You

When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we may collect the following sensitive information: health data, data about a person’s sex life, and financial data. We refer to this information as “Sensitive Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about all of Device Information, Order Information, General Personal Information and Sensitive Information.


HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use your Personal Information for various reasons, and we process your Personal Information in order to:

    • Process and deliver services to the user. 
    • Communicate with the user.
    • Improve our products and services
    • assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns
    • Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services
    • help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address)
    • improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may also take necessary actions and share your Personal Information if you report child, elder abuse or neglect or threaten to harm yourself or someone else. 

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.


DO NOT TRACK

Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that lets to tell your websites you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Because these features are not yet uniform, we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.


YOUR RIGHTS

You have certain rights under applicable personal information protection laws. These may include the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. 


DATA RETENTION

When you place an order or book an appointment through the Site, we will maintain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. 


MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you think that Personal Information from your child less than 13 years of age has been collected, we strongly encourage you to contact us and we will do our best to promptly remove such information from our records.


GOVERNED LAW

These conditions and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the subject matter or formation of these terms, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree that the courts of the Province of Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the subject matter or formation of these terms.
